Monetary prizes will be awarded to the top four speakers. In addition, there will be a prize awarded to the speaker who best addresses an issue of the UCF Unifying Theme. (For more information about the Unifying Theme, refer to the website - http://gep.ucf.edu/ ).

Each competitor will present a six to eight minute extemporaneous persuasive speech on a topic of his or her choice. Interested participants will submit a proposal describing their persuasive message. We will begin accepting applications on Monday, September 15th. The first 30 viable applications will be accepted. The last day to apply (providing all slots have not been taken) will be Monday, November 3rd.
