Peter is the Vice President of Global Consumer Marketing for the Visit Orlando. He has been there for the last thirteen years where he oversees domestic and international marketing programs, strategic alliances worldwide, direct and interactive marketing, cooperative advertising, and the Visitor Services area including the Official Visitor Center. Prior to that, he was Director of Marketing Communications for the AAA National Office. Peter has spent his 20+ year career in Orlando working in marketing, advertising and public relations for companies like Sprint/United Telephone, SunTrust Banks, Kirchman Corporation and Church Street Station. He received both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Communication from University of Central Florida.
Peter is a member of the NSC Hall of Fame and is a recipient of the Professional Achievement Award given by the UCF Alumni Association and College of Sciences. He has also received a Jefferson Award for his volunteerism with the UCF Alumni Association, of which he is Chair-Elect and serves as the Chair for Visit Florida’s Advertising and Internet Committee.
