University of Central Florida's Mission Statement:

Nicholson School of Communication's Mission:

In support of the University's mission of providing intellectual leadership through quality programs, the School of Communication 1) offers academically challenging undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare students for professional careers and for further graduate study in a number of communication fields, 2) integrates the study of the several communication disciplines on both the domestic and international levels, and 3) contributes a significant level of service and partnership to the University community, professional organizations and a culturally diverse society.
