Biography

Originally from upstate New York, Boyd moved to Florida to attend college in 2000. After completing his AA from Indian River Community College in Ft. Pierce, he transferred into UCF's Advertising/Public Relations program. Upon completion of his degree, he went into the work force, and worked with Curley & Pynn Public Relations and Marketing Communications. He then returned to UCF to complete his M.A. in Interpersonal Communication. He has since worked with the College of Sciences' Dean's office as the college's Human Resources Coordinator and dabbled in the airline industry with Southwest Airlines. He excitedly re-joins the university as the Assistant Director of the Nicholson School of Communication.
