Nicholson School of Communication
Lindsay Hudock is a visiting instructor in the advertising/public relations division of the UCF Nicholson School of Communication. Her course offerings include Writing for Public Relations and Introduction to Public Relations. Prior to joining the faculty of the Nicholson School, Lindsay’s career focused on writing, event planning, and public relations for nonprofit organizations. As program director for Leadership Seminole she was responsible for the planning and implementation of a 10-month program designed to educate existing and potential community leaders about the issues facing Seminole County. She also handled the organization’s special events, communication vehicles, branding initiatives, and community relations. In 2007 she became a principal in Well Said Public Relations, LLC, a consulting and freelance writing business. The organization contracts with a diverse range of clients to provide services in event planning and onsite event coordination; writing promotional, advertising and marketing materials; copy editing; and public relations consulting. She lives in Lake Mary with her husband Jared, their 3-year-old daughter Raleigh, and infant son Asher.
